Day 1: ARRIVE LIMA (2 NIGHTS)
Arrive in Pizarro's Capital of the New World, transferring to your hotel in Lima's San Isidro. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Reception with your fellow travellers and Travel Director.
Day 2: LIMA SIGHTSEEING
Embark on a full day exploring the city sights, including an in-depth 'Connect with Locals' experience with expert chef, Ignacio Barrios. Visit a local market and learn how to prepare popular Peruvian dishes using fresh ingredients at a 'Be My Guest' lunch. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 3: LIMA – CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY
We'll visit the Pisac market and admire the exquisitely crafted Quechuan wares. 'Dive into Culture' and meet Nilda Callañaupa Alvarez, a master Quechua weaver, and the first person from her village to attend university. She been an ambassador for Andean traditions since she began learning ancient pre-Columbian weaving techniques as a young girl in the 1960s. 'Make a Difference' as your visit helps to preserve and promote traditional pre-Columbian weaving techniques in the 21st century. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4: SACRED VALLEY – MACHU PICCHU
Journey to the Lost City in the Clouds, boarding the Vistadome train to UNESCO-listed Machu Picchu where you'll join a 'Local Specialist' to explore such icons as the Temple of the Sun, the House of the Priest, the Sacred Plaza and the Intihuatana. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO (2 NIGHTS)
We return to Machu Picchu to reconnect with our soulful surrounds. If you're feeling adventurous, hike up to the Gate of the Sun to witness first-hand the panoramic views over the hilltop fortress and valley below. 'Dive into Culture' en route to Cusco, learning how local women brew the traditional Peruvian corn beer called chicha. (Breakfast)
Day 6: CUSCO SIGHTSEEING
Unlock the best-kept secrets of Cusco with a 'Local Specialist' as you embark on a full-day sightseeing tour that will include a visit to the ruins of Sacsayhuaman. Enjoy a Regional Dinner at a local restaurant to savour Cusquenian gastronomy against the backdrop of a captivating local dance performance. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 7: CUSCO – LIMA
Take to the streets of Lima for a soulful encounter with a colonial city built on the foundations of the Inca Empire. Meet your 'Local Specialist' and a curator at the Larco Museum, which boasts the largest private collection of 7th century pre-Columbian art in the world. Enjoy a Regional Dinner alfresco in the garden restaurant with all the essentials taken care of. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 8: LIMA – SANTIAGO (2 NIGHTS)
Fly to Chile's exciting capital of Santiago. On arrival, you'll be taken to your luxury hotel in the fashionable suburb of Las Condes. (Breakfast)
Day 9: SANTIAGO SIGHTSEEING
Today's adventure begins with an in-depth tour of Santiago with a 'Local Specialist'. After a visit to the Central Market, it's off to the Casablanca Valley. 'Dive into Culture' as you join a local wine maker for a personalised winery experience and tasting. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 10: SANTIAGO – PUERTO MONTT – PUERTO VARAS
We fly to the coastal port of Puerto Montt, then travel to Puerto Varas for an immersive tour of this "City of Roses". Enjoy the rest of the day on your own terms before dinner this evening. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 11: PUERTO VARAS – LAKE CROSSING – BARILOCHE (2 NIGHTS)
Venture deep into the Andes this morning, admiring the cascading waters of Petrohue River, then cruising across Todos Los Santos Lake. Sit back and watch the beautiful mountain, lake and forest landscapes, crossing the border into Argentina. We'll cruise over Lake Nahuel Huapi arriving in the Swiss-inspired town of Bariloche. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 12: BARILOCHE SIGHTSEEING
Join your 'Local Specialist' along the “Circuito Chico”, a rite of passage through soul-stirring evergreen forests, epic mountain views, and the shimmering waters of Nahuel Huapi National Park. We'll visit Playa Bonita, then journey to the top of Cerro Campanario before we 'Dive into Culture' at Bariloche's Chocolate Museum. (Breakfast)
Day 13: BARILOCHE – BUENOS AIRES (3 NIGHTS)
Fly to Buenos Aires today where this evening you'll 'Connect with Locals' and enjoy an exclusive 'Be My Guest' dinner with a local family who'll treat you to homemade family dishes and teach you the art of the Tango. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 14: BUENOS AIRES SIGHTSEEING
Connect with Argentina's capital this morning as you embark on a sightseeing your with a 'Local Specialist'. Visit the Recoleta cemetery to pay tribute to Eva Peron (Evita), Argentina's former first lady. Then, indulge in a Regional Dinner and 'Dive into Culture' as you witness the fire and passion of a traditional Tango performance. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 15: BUENOS AIRES FREE TIME
Pursue your own interests as you explore the “Paris of South America”. Visit the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes or wander through the sprawling San Telmo district. Consider taking a trip into the countryside to a traditional estancia ranch and indulge in an authentic parrillada lunch. (Breakfast)
Day 16: BUENOS AIRES – IGUASSU FALLS (2 NIGHTS)
Take to the skies with a flight to Iguassu Falls where you'll meet a 'Local Specialist' to explore the UNESCO-listed Iguassu National Park. Take a front-row seat on board an open air ecological jungle train through the dense rainforest. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 17: IGUASSU FALLS SIGHTSEEING
Wake up in paradise and make your way back to Iguassu National Park to embark on your exploration on the Brazilian side of the falls. Your 'Local Specialist' will be close at hand to take you on an immersive walk through the evergreen rainforest. (Breakfast)
Day 18: IGUASSU FALLS – RIO DE JANEIRO (3 NIGHTS)
Return to Iguassu National Park with your 'Local Specialist’, then fly to Rio de Janeiro. Admire the panoramic views over Copacabana Beach as you arrive at your hotel with oceanview rooms. (Breakfast)
Day 19: RIO DE JANEIRO SIGHTSEEING
Your Rio adventure begins with your 'Local Specialist' as you ascend Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car to take in the best vantage points. Make the most of your afternoon in this dazzling city by exploring at your own leisure. (Breakfast)
Day 20: RIO DE JANEIRO SIGHTSEEING
Join your Local Specialist aboard a classic cogwheel train to the summit of Corcovado, the site of the iconic Christ the Redeemer. 'Dive into Culture' at a Samba school and live your passions with a private dance lesson. Visit a churrascaria for a Farewell Dinner, complete with caipirinha mixing. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 21: DEPART RIO DE JANEIRO
Do some last-minute exploring at your own pace until your transfer to the airport. Or alternatively, extend your stay in Rio de Janeiro at the Miramar by Windsor. (Breakfast)

Meet a Quechua scholar to learn about Peruvian weaving. Visit a local chicheria for some traditional chicha tasting. Visit a winery in Chile's Casablanca valley and meet the winemaker for a personalized winery experience including a wine tasting. Learn about Bariloche's chocolate heritage with a visit to the Chocolate Museum and sample a delicious array of locally made chocolates. Experience the beauty of the Tango and learn about its traditions. Visit a Samba school to see and experience this symbol of Brazil. (Days 3, 5, 9, 12, 14, 20)
CONNECT WITH LOCALS
Visit a local market and meet Ignacio Barrios, award-winning chef, and visit his cooking school where you'll see a demonstration on how to prepare some of Peru's most popular foods and dine at the home of a local family in the bohemian neighbourhood of Palermo Soho with its European-style houses and hip attitude. (Days 2, 13)
